June is done and dusted and it was different month for me. For the first time ever, my training consisted entirely of an organised run program. And while I didn’t get to follow the program exactly as prescribed I did manage to get out for the majority of the runs.

I was supposed to do 15 runs in June, for a total of 151kms. Instead, I managed 11 runs for 117kms. Despite being around 2/3 of the scheduled runs/distance, it was still the most kms I’ve ever run in a month. And I’m happy with that. Work has been hectic and the winter hasn’t helped either. Now that work is settling done again and we’re past mid-winter, things should get a little easier.

July sees the plan step up a bit – 18 runs for 250 kms. Crikey!
